New Brunswick PNP 2026 - Streams, Fees and Sector Limits

Three pathways, eligibility only, with no points system. All need age 19 or older, CLB or NCLC 4 in all four skills and a New Brunswick employer that is registered, has operated in NB for 24 months and supports you. Not limited to TEER 0-3: the Priority Occupations list includes TEER 4 and 5 codes.

• NB Experience: 6 months of full-time work with the supporting employer, 6 months living in NB with valid temporary status, high school (with ECA if foreign). New invitations limited to health care, education and construction since 4 May 2026.
• NB Graduates: a PGWP-eligible program completed at a NB designated learning institution, a job or accepted offer, 6 months living in NB. No minimum work experience; language test waived if the job is TEER 0-3 and the program was taught in English or French.
• Priority Occupations: an offer from a Government of NB recruitment mission, one of 33 listed health, education and construction NOCs, 1,560 hours of experience in the last 5 years, high school (with ECA if foreign). No NB residence needed.
• The 3 February 2026 occupation exclusions apply to all three pathways.

Requires a valid federal Express Entry profile, age 19 to 55, CLB 7 in all four skills, high school (with ECA if foreign), one year of continuous full-time TEER 0-3 work in one NOC within the last 10 years, and proof of funds unless exempt. Scored on a 100-point grid; an application scoring under 67 is refused.

• Employment in NB: 12 months living in NB, 12 months of full-time TEER 0-3 work in NB, and a current full-time TEER 0-3 NB job with an employer operating for 24 months.
• NB Interests: a letter of interest that INB itself places in your Express Entry profile. You cannot apply for it, write it or request it, and the criteria are not published.
• Accepting the nomination in your Express Entry profile adds 600 points; this applies to every Express Entry nominee.
• The 3 February 2026 occupation exclusions apply to both pathways.

A French-language stream with three pathways. All need age 19 or older, NCLC 5 in all four skills proven by TEF Canada or TCF Canada only, high school (with ECA if foreign), qualifying work or New Brunswick study, and a score of at least 65 on a 100-point grid at application.

• Francophone Workers in NB: a permanent full-time NB job or offer, an employer operating for 12 months, and 6 months living in NB unless the offer comes from a recruitment mission.
• NB Francophone Priorities: a program of at least one year completed in person at Universite de Moncton or CCNB while physically in NB, or a letter of interest from INB.
• Francophones Working Remotely in NB: 12 months living in NB and working remotely for a Canadian employer outside Quebec.
• INB's web page and guides give different work-experience look-back periods (5 versus 10 years); we confirm which applies before you file.

An employer-driven pilot. INB's page says it does not accept direct applications from candidates and is not currently open to broader participation. Six named employers take part: Cooke Aquaculture, J.D. Irving, Groupe Savoie, Groupe Westco, Imperial Manufacturing Group and McCain Foods.

• No points system; language (CLB 4), education and work experience can each be met by an employer attestation
• An invitation gives up to 45 calendar days to apply
• No invitation figures are published, so whether invitations are being issued is not known
• The province may close or pause intake without notice
