PEI PNP 2026 - Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program

For candidates with a valid federal Express Entry profile. Like every PEI stream, it starts with a PEI Expression of Interest profile, and PEI invites from its own pool. PEI publishes no minimum CRS or score for this stream.

• Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades or Canadian Experience Class profile
• Valid federal Express Entry profile required
• Non-PEI PGWP or spousal open work permit holders: 9 months with a supporting PEI employer and 4 months of permit left when the EOI is submitted
• PEI prioritizes invitations for applicants working and living in the province

The main employer-supported stream for skilled occupations. Requires a full-time PEI job offer in a TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation that is permanent or for a minimum of 24 months. Candidates in Canada need a valid work permit; recruiting from outside Canada needs the employer to be authorized by the Office first.

• TEER 0-3 occupations only
• Language: CLB 4 on an approved test, or the employer confirms language on form PEIW-02
• 2 years of full-time work experience in the past 5 years
• Age 18 to 59
• Completed a 2-year post-secondary program
• Employer: 2 years of continuous PEI operation, recruitment efforts unsuccessful in Canada, form PEIW-02

For TEER 4 and 5 occupations. Requires a PEI job offer and at least six months of full-time, continuous work with the PEI employer on a permit with status. The language route is stricter than Skilled Worker because there is no PEIW-02 option.

• Language: CLB 4 on an approved test (no PEIW-02 option)
